Biography
Paolo Amerio, MD, PhD, is a Full Professor and Director of the Dermatology Clinic at G. d’Annunzio University in Chieti. His expertise lies in dermatoimmunology and photodermatology, and he has experience in autoimmune bullous diseases, dermato-rheumatologic conditions and vitiligo.
He is a reviewer for journals such as the British Journal of Dermatology, the International Journal of Dermatology and the International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology. As well as presenting at congresses both nationally and internationally, he has co-authored over 170 peer-reviewed articles and participated in a clinical trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of baricitinib in combination with topical corticosteroids in adult patients.
