Milli Gupta

Biography

Milli Gupta, MD, FRCPC, is an associate clinical professor of internal medicine at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. She is also the director of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Research Team at the University of Calgary.  

Dr Gupta obtained her doctoral degree with a specialty in gastroenterology at the University of Western Ontario in Ontario, Canada, and then completed Advanced Esophageal Fellowship at Mayo Clinic. 

With a clinical interest in esophageal and associated motility disorders, including eosinophilic esophagitis and Barrett’s esophagus, Dr Gupta has published numerous articles on the topics in peer-reviewed journals such as Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, The American Journal of Gastroenterology, and United European Gastroenterology Journal.  

Dr Gupta is a member of the Administrative Affairs and Equity Diversity Inclusion committees at the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology; a member of the American College of Gastroenterology Patient Care Committee; and a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
