Mette Deleuran

Mette Deleuran, MD, DMSc, is an Associate Professor and Chairman at the Department of Dermatology at Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus, Denmark. She specializes in Dermatology with a focus on atopic dermatitis and inflammatory skin diseases, and her research includes basic science, epidemiology, and clinical studies. She is a founding member of the International Society of Atopic Dermatitis (ISAD) and chair of European Task Force on Atopic Dermatitis (ETFAD). She is also former board member of European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), as well as board member of several other scientific societies, organizations, and advisory panels, including the worldwide OPENED Dermatology program, which is a patient education network for patients suffering from atopic dermatitis. Additionally, she has published over 100 articles and several book chapters.
