Biography
Martin Wagenmann, MD, PhD, is Head of Rhinology, Allergy, and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the University Hospital of Düsseldorf (UKD), Vice Chair of the UKD Interdisciplinary University Allergy Center, and Head of the UKD Research Laboratory of the ENT Department.
Prof. Wagenmann’s main areas of expertise include clinical and immunological aspects of allergic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis, specific immunotherapy with allergens, and mechanisms of head and neck cancer.
Prof. Wagenmann is a member of various national and international scientific organizations, including the European Rhinologic Society and the German Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and has been involved in coordinating and coauthoring several national and international clinical guidelines, including the most recent version of the German guidelines on allergic rhinitis.
