Fred Ghali, MD, is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and Baylor Medical Department of Dermatology, both in Dallas, Texas. In 2001, Dr. Ghali founded Pediatric Dermatology of North Texas, a private practice clinic providing dermatologic care exclusively for pediatric and adolescent patients.
Dr. Ghali is board-certified in pediatric dermatology, general pediatrics, and general dermatology. He is a fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Over the last 20 years, Dr. Ghali has been a frequently invited speaker at local, state, and national CME-accredited conferences. He is involved in multiple professional societies, including the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, and has previously served in leadership positions on the Section of Dermatology for the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Pediatric Dermatology Section for the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Ghali invests much of his time educating dermatology residents and participating in research exploring advances and breakthroughs in pediatric dermatology. He is the author of over 30 publications about pediatrics and dermatology in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for journals including Pediatric Dermatology and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
