Constance Katelaris

Constance Katelaris, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Immunology & Allergy at Western Sydney University and Head of Department and Senior Staff Specialist at Campbelltown Hospital. She also runs a private consultant practice, consulting on all aspects of allergic and immunologic disorders in children and adults.  

She is a past president of the Asia Pacific Association of Allergology, Asthma and Clinical Immunology, the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy, and has held executive positions on the World Allergy Organization Board. She is a highly accomplished allergist and immunologist with extensive experience in clinical practice, education and research. Dr. Katelaris is also a convenor of the Masters in Allergic Diseases, the first postgraduate course in allergic diseases in the Faculty of Medicine, Western Sydney University. She has been involved in many clinical trials for ocular allergy, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, urticaria, angioedema and severe asthma.
