Biography
Anna De Benedetto, MD, is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. After completing her medical school and dermatology residency in Italy, she moved to the United States to continue her training in dermatology and pursue a career as a clinician-scientist. Her research and clinical interests lie in the area of atopic dermatitis, with a focus on investigating the cross-talk between the skin barrier and the immune system.
She is the Director of the Dermatology Clinical Trial Unit at the University of Rochester Medical Center, overseeing several cutting-edge trials with the goal of providing patients with innovative therapeutic opportunities while continuing to learn more about disease pathophysiology.
