Biography
Dr. Pedro Mendes Bastos is a Specialist in Dermatology and Venereology at Hospital CUF Descobertas in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Principal Investigator for multicenter clinical trials in immune-mediated skin diseases, he is actively involved in advancing dermatologic research. Dr. Mendes Bastos also serves on the Board of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) as Portugal's representative (2023–2026), participates in the multidisciplinary Dermatology-Rheumatology Clinic at Hospital CUF Descobertas, is a member of the Portuguese Atopic Dermatitis Group of the Portuguese Society of Dermatology and Venereology (SPDV), and volunteers as a scientific consultant for the Portuguese Atopic Dermatitis Association (ADERMAP).
