Dr. Kim discusses the involvement of itch signaling pathways and the associated drivers of chronic itch within CSU pathophysiology. Special focus is placed on non-histaminergic neuronal sensitization and the role of type 2 cytokines within itch signaling. This video was recorded at the UCARE 2023 conference during the ADVENT symposium ‘Targeting Type 2 Inflammation in CSU – Clinical and Mechanistic Implications’.
