Biography
Sietze Reitsma is an experienced ENT specialist and rhinologist working at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers in the Netherlands. He specializes in sinus and skull base surgery, with a particular focus on mucosal pathology of the upper and lower airways. Prof. Reitsma's research is centered on precision medicine, exploring quality of life, treatment outcomes, costs (at both patient and societal levels), epidemiology of treatable traits, and endotyping.
This research line integrates basic immunological studies, epidemiological investigations, and clinical trials. He received his PhD and completed his ENT training at Maastricht University Medical Center (MUMC+) and has been practicing at the Amsterdam UMC since 2015.
